Question 25: Time for receiving document and HS code classification
How long does it take to receive the answer after sending the document? Is a commodity able to have different HS CODEs in different provinces and cities?

The time for resolving documents is typically about 5-10 days.
The same commodity may have different HS Codes due to the fact that goods inspection results in provinces and cities are unidentical. Currently, there are 3 centers for commodity classification analysis; in the near future in the process of analysing and inspection of commodity, these centers will report to the Customs for classifying and to the General Customs Department to synchronize HS CODEs.
