- Customs officials always put customer service on top criterias with the motto: "Solidarity - Discipline – Proactiveness - Understanding – Fairness – Efficiency" and the Declaration of service (issued together with Decision No. 225 / QD-TCHQ on 09/02/2011 of General Department of Customs) "Professional – Transparency – Effectiveness".

- The implementation of the customs processes and procedures is complied with the laws and regulations, prohibits any negative behavior. The Customs leaders direct all units regularly inspecting officials during the execution of tasks in order to prevent negative behaviors and severely punish officials if detected.

- According to Directive 32/2006/ CT-TTg on 07/9/2006 by the Prime Minister on a number of urgent measures to correct discipline in solving problems of residents and businesses. Currently, the General Department of Customs, Customs Department of Ho Chi Minh City and the Customs Sub-Departments publicize the telephone hotline number to receive comments on the process and procedures; information and problems of individuals and organizations for misconduct, harassment, negative, troubles from the officials.
