Vietnam ranks second among attractive investment destinations for Japanese firms

The survey is an annual activity that has been run by JBIC since 1992. The 2024 survey report received responses from 495 Japanese enterprises which have been investing abroad.

The results indicate that among the top 10 investment destinations, the country ranked second with a very high number of votes.

According to JBIC’s survey, Japanese enterprises highly appreciated the overall quality of Vietnamese human resources, noting that the nation represents an ideal destination for moving production facilities from abroad.

Furthermore, economists analyzed that the country’s abundant and low-cost workforce has become its competitive advantage compared to other investment destinations.

Experts also pointed out that with advantages of investment attraction policies, favourable geographical location, and abundant high-quality human resources, Vietnam will continue to attract foreign investors moving forward, not only from Japan, but also from many other countries in the region and around the world.
