CU CHI HEALTHCARE INSTITUTION

Location

Hiep Phuoc ward, Cu Chi district (on the right hand side of National Highway No. 22 leading to Tay Ninh), 40 km from HCM City

Objective

Building a first and advanced model of Ho Chi Minh City’s healthcare service in combination training and examination, treatment with international standard

-           Phase 1: (up to 2008): Building a 500-sick bed general hospital with a emergency  area serving for 1000 beds and a endoscope operation training center; building 2 medical staffs training centers, includ- ing medical university and administrative center serving for 1000 students.

-           Phase 2: (up to 2010): Expanding the general hospital up to 1000 beds.

-           Phase 3 (up to 2015): Building specialized hospitals with the 2000 beds in total, including: pediat- ric (500 beds), obstetric (500 beds), cardiology (200 beds), neurology (200 beds), tumor (500 beds), blood filter (100 beds), burned and skin graft (20-50 beds). In additionally, completing  training area, sport and gymnastic center, commercial and cultural center.

Project scale:

-           Area:    105.98 hectares

-           Investment Capital:         140 million USD (~ 115 million euro)

Investment form: J.V or BCC

Investment incentive:

-           Land rental exemption granted  to: education, healthcare, culture, sport, and science – technology projects for large public usage (Decree 142/2005/ND-CP dated 14/11/2005)

-           Corporate Income Tax: 20% for in 10 years, 2 years tax holiday and 50% tax reduction in following 3 years (Decree 164/2004/ND-CP dated 22/12/2003)

                                                                                                       

PHARMACEUTICAL AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT PRODUCTION

 

Location: in districts: Cu Chi, Hoc Mon & District 12, Ho Chi Minh City

Objective

Building a hi-tech production facility of pharmaceutical and medical equipment that meet international standards  like GMP, GLP, GSP

Encouraging investment in:

-           Manufacturing bio-technological products

-           Manufacturing vaccines, antibiotic, medicines for tuberculosis treatment, cardiovascular, hepati- tis, nephritis, cancer, AIDS …

-           Manufacturing diagnostic equipment (x-ray, ultrasound scan, cardiogram, …); equipment for operation, chloroform, recuperation (respiration machineries, recuperation machineries, personal oxygen generation machineries …); laser equipment, hi-tech treatment equipment, physical therapy equipment, rehabilitation equipment; laboratory equipment; implantation and transplantation equipment stainless steel, composite; high-capacity aseptic equipment, waste water treatment and medical waste treatment. Project scale: 69.5 hectares (Cu Chi district: 50 hectares, district 12 and Hoc Mon district: 19.5 hectares) Constructional standards:

- Building inspection and diagnosis check center: 1.5 hectares

- Building a pharmaceutical commerce area and warehouse: 18 hectares

- Building an integrative industrial park for R&D, manufacturing medicine and medical equipment: 50 hectares

Investment form: 100% FOEs, J.V, BCC

Investment Incentive:

MEDICAL CENTERS AT METROPOLITAN SUB-AREAS

Location: East (District 2, 9, Thu Duc), West (District Binh Tan, Binh Chanh), South (District 7, Can Gio, Nha

Be), North (District 12, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi)

Area: period 2004-2010: 125ha

2011-2020: 175 ha

Project objective: Build a health care centers as urban satellite (near the 4 gates entering the city), sat- isfy the demand for high - tech health care service, and release the pressures for hospitals in the down- town areas of the city. Total number of beds: 30.000 beds

Additional information: Investment form: Business Corporation Contract (BCC), Join venture (JV), 100% foreign capital (FO). Local government where the land is situated is responsible for clearance and accept- ance, ground handling to investors under the approved  plans. Investment initiatives: reduced/free of

land rent and/ or corporate  tax. Supervisor: Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health.

                                           

MODERN ONCOLOGY (TUMOR) HOSPITAL

Location: District 9, HCM City

Objective

-           Building a modern hospital specialized in tumor treatment

Project scale: 10 hectares, 1,000 beds Investment form: 100% FIEs, J.V, BCC Investment incentive:
