I. Nhon Duc River Port 1. Objective: to increase shipping capacity via river port to develop waterway transportation of the City in line with Ho Chi Minh City’s transportation planning until 2020 and vision after 2020 approved by the Prime Minster. 2. Location: Nha Be District 3. Construction scale - Total area: 50ha - Length of landing pier: estimated at 910m - Loading capacity: ships of 500DWT and scow group of 750DWT - Shipping capacity: Qtp = 1.2 million tons/year 4. Investment capital: estimated at VND 800 billion (~US$40 million) 5. Form of investment: direct investment 6. Priority level: 1
II. Phu Huu port (phase 2) 1. Location: Phu Huu ward, district 9 2. Area: 140,000 sqm 3. Objectives: Increasing the rate of Goods pass-by at Phu Huu port. Projected Capacity: 4 million tons /year 4. Investment Capital: $US22.5 million 5. Status: preparation 6. Investment form: Cooperation - Fund/ equipment sharing or finishing equipment processing chain and technol- ogy transferring, sharing duties in management of port.
