Project purpose: Constructing Phu Dinh Port River to become a clue of domestic transportation between Ho Chi Minh City and the eastern and western provinces of the South Vietnam and concomitantly being a transit center of cargo, passenger, and service through river transport.
Project size: 60ha (stage 2: 50ha)
Total investment expectation: USD 81,000,000

Purpose of investment attraction: Capital contribution for enlargement of the warehouse and freight yard system, improvement of the machinery and equipment, technology transfer, management and project exploitation.

Legality of project:

June 2001: The Committee of Ho Chi Minh City People promulgated a decree to approve stage 1 of Phu Dinh Port River project.
June 2002: The Manager of Planning and Investment Department Ho Chi Minh City promulgated a decree to approve the stage 1 tender plan.

Current condition of project: Completed compensation of premises clearance on May, 2007 and currently operate the infrastructure construction packages for stage 1 which is expected for exploitation in December, 2008
