1. Name of project: Hospitals in Tân Kiên – Bình Chánh Medical Complex

2. Owner: City Children’s Hospital, ENT Hospital - base 2, Blood Transfusion Hematology Hospital, Cancer Hospital, Heart Institute - base 2, Medical University Pham Ngoc Thach-base 2.

3. Project Objectives: To build hospitals and specialized hospitals and medical schools, serving patients in the area and pick up patients from the western  provinces, contributing  to  reduce the load of hospitals in city area; in association with Children’s Hospital and Hospital Hematology Blood Transfusion in total land area of about 54 ha to establish model institutions - schools in the western gateway cities.

4. Location: Tân Kiên and Tân Nhựt commune, Bình Chánh hamlet, HCMC.

5. Project scope:

- City Children’s Hospital (1000 beds, land area 9.6 ha)

- ENT Hospital – base 2 (400 beds, land area 3,3 ha)

- Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital (300 beds, land area 2.6 ha)

- Cancer Hospital (1000 beds, land area 5,9 ha)

- Heart Institute- base 2 (300 beds, land area 3 ha)

- Pham Ngoc Thach Medical University – base 2 (Hospital Practice 800 beds, medical school training 4,000 students, the land area of about 10 ha).

6. Present situation:

-  People’s Committee of Binh Chanh district is implementing compensation and ground clearance.

-  Department of Health is holding up zoning 1/2.000 rate 54 ha of land.

7. Investment Method: Hospitals operate under socialized model, calling for investment cooperation in the field of investment management, consulting, project development, training and resources for hospitals.
