| Description | : | PROJECT OBJECTIVES Creating more corridor along the North-South axis to decrease pressure on the traffic at the central area, connecting Tân Sơn Nhất airport with the city centre THE EXPECTED INVESTMENT CAPITAL VND 15,460 billion (equivalent to US$ 703 million) GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE PROJECT Under Decision no. 568/QD-TTg, the direction of the highway no. 1 is fixed as follows: the highway starts from Cộng Hòa -Trường Chinh interchange, and goes along roads named Cộng Hòa - Trần Quốc Hoàn - Phan Thúc Duyên - Hoàng Văn Thụ - Phan Đăng Lưu - Phan Xích Long - Phan Xích Long (extended, standby) - crosses Điện Biên Phủ road. Here, the line has 01 branch for exit/entry at the interchange of Điện Biên Phủ road, and another branch will be extended to Ngô Tất Tố road - then end before Phú An bridge. Length: ~ 9.5 km. |
